Goal
The focus is on increasing efficiency through the introduction of lean smart maintenance aspects. The central element of the project is active support for the climate of change and innovation. To this end, the organisational structure is critically examined and cross-divisional cooperation is improved. In addition, effective data recording enables the optimisation of IT support in plant management while at the same time preserving maintenance expertise.

Project content
The procedure concept for process optimisation can be divided into the four phases shown (see Figure 2). Support from the wBw is provided in two sub-projects:
The wBw assessment methodology in phase 1 enables an evaluation of the maturity level of asset management at the site (actual state), from which a target is derived in the sense of one-year and multi-year targets (target state). Furthermore, the assessment methodology results in a presentation of the strengths and potentials in the individual assessment criteria. In phase 2, the assessment is used as a basis for prioritising the focal points and focusing on short-term potential for success. The definition of an action plan supports the pursuit of the objectives. In phase 3, the measures are implemented. Regular reviews (phase 4) provide information on the degree of completion and reveal further potential.
